Born in 1964, studied organ and electroacoustics at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna and graduated in composition studying from Roman Haubenstock-Ramati. After studying abroad (e.g. University of California, San Diego, Department of Visual Art in 1992) he founded the EIS ensemble in 1997. His main focus are graphic and intermedia scores, which can also be realized in non-musical forms of representation.
