Jan Jelinek (de)

The electronic musician Jan Jelinek - also known under his pseudonym Farben - who has been active since the 1990s, uses gentle nuances and delicate pulses in his minimalist pieces. The tracks of the Faitiche label operator resemble abstract sound poems. In them, unrecognizable samples meet clicks&cuts, deconstructed text fragments meet microsound and dubbly springy beats. The result is sparkling stardust music that moves in the peripheral zones of electronic music.
