Julia Krüger (de)

Julia Krüger (Political Science Diploma) works at the interface of politics, law and technology. Her focus is on algorithms, artificial intelligence and content regulation. As a research associate of Saskia Esken (MdB SPD, since June 2018), she also works on various topics of German domestic and digital policy. Previously, she worked independently for various stakeholders (2015-18), including the Bertelsmann Stiftung and netzpolitik.org. Her previous research on the Internet as a policy field (WZB, 2013-2015) as well as her experience with economic self- and co-regulation (SRIW, 2013) or her knowledge of data communication and network infrastructures (diploma thesis: Netzsperren, University of Potsdam 2012) are of benefit to her in all these areas. She is a Fellow at the Center for Internet & Human Rights (Viadrina, Frankfurt/ Oder).
