Sunday, 8 March 2026 – Day 4

From sunrise onwards, Parkhouse (06:00 - 20:00) hosts MAKAvA X LEMON SOUR レモンサワー, starting with DJ Deadlift & Apua and continuing throughout the day with Sibil, vince, jess_whereyouat, Alice, and Olgica & Milès Borghese on the decks.

In the evening at the Orpheum, the Closing Elevate Concert begins at 19:00 with Mama Feelgood & Mr. Farmer, followed by Maria Somerville. 
At 21:30Soft Cell legend Marc Almond takes to the stage for the festival’s final set. As the voice of the iconic duo Soft Cell, Almond played a pivotal role in shaping music history with his minimalist yet emotionally charged synth-pop. Cult classics like Tainted Love blend dark romanticism, urban edge, and irresistible melodic hooks. His set promises a mix of Soft Cell favourites alongside material from his acclaimed solo career.
 


Saturday, 7 March 2026 – Day 3

The concert programme begins in the afternoon at KULTUM [imCubus] (16:00 - 17:00, free entry) with live sets by Zlata and Zahra Mani.

From 19:00, the Orpheum hosts Miyra Lim, Beaks, Herbert & Momoko and Eli Preiss, while Orpheum Extra features DÄ LIVER (world premiere), UCHE YARA and KUNTARI. At the Grazer Dom, organist Maxime Denuc performs a special concert at 19:45 (Free admission).

Club night unfolds from 22:00 at Dom im Berg with Kessel Vale, Carrier, Anna Z and DJ-set by Kittin, followed by Spekki Webu & Woody92 into the morning hours. At the same time, GRNGR celebrates 10 years of Atropa with Goldberg, Attila, Romain FX and Rena Volvo.

At ppc and ppc 2nd, the night continues with Pinch, Darwin, DJ Storm, DJ Spinn and many more across both floors.
 

Today, the discourse programme in Heimatsaal ends with a varied programme of events:

At 10:00, the workshop “Feeling Our Way Forward” opens the day (EN). At 13:00, journalist Gilda Sahebi joins with her talk “Unite Instead of Divide” (DE), followed by the panel “Europe’s Capacity to Act: War, Economy, and Fragile Alliances” at 14:30 (EN).

At 16:30, “The Future Is Not in Short Supply – Regenerative Economics Instead of Resignation” shifts the focus toward economic alternatives (DE), before the lecture performance “Propaganda”, presented in cooperation with Dossier, closes the evening at 18:30 (DE).

As in the previous days, the augmented reality film “The Tent: An AR Story”, presented in cooperation with Digithalia, runs from 12:00 to 18:00 in the Garden at Heimatsaal (DE/EN).

Friday, 6 March 2026 – Day 2

17:00: Tonight, the concert and club programme unfolds across the city:

At Orpheum (19:00 - 00:00) live sets by Aki Traar, Anika, Cabaret Voltaire and Dame Area take the stage. Next door at Orpheum Extra (20:00 - 00:00), Benedikt Alphart, Mariam Rezaei and bela will be performing.

At Dom im Berg (22:00 - 06:00), the night moves from Lucia Kagramanyan to a world premiere by Kelman Duran, Kianí del Valle, Lukas Koenig and Theresa Baumgartner, followed by a DJ set from Modeselektor and late-night energy from gyrofield and Toupaz.

Parallel club nights run at GRNGR (22:00 - 06:00) with Jukebox Utopia, Talita Otović, Somniac One and more, and at our new club – ppc – (22:00 - 04:00) and ppc 2nd (23:00 - 04:00), featuring Stenny, Polygonia, Josey Rebelle, Pavel Milyakov and others.

10:00: Today, the discourse programme begins at 10:00 in the Heimatsaal with the workshop and presentation “Designing for Collapse”, presented in cooperation with FH JOANNEUM (DE/EN).
At 13:00, the panel “Vibe Shift, Really?: Broligarchy, Tech Power, and Authoritarian Fantasies” takes a closer look at emerging tech power structures (DE). 
At 15:00, media theorist Douglas Rushkoff joins us with his talk “Team Human” (EN), followed by the “Net Policy Evening” at 16:30, featuring lectures in cooperation with epicenter.works and spektral (DE).

Running parallel from 12:00 to 18:00 in the Garden im Heimatsaal, the augmented reality film “The Tent: An AR Story”, presented in cooperation with Digithalia, invites you all to an immersive experience. (DE/EN).
Following that, the film “Total Trust” will be screened at 18:30.

09:00: Good morning Elevators! Did you enjoy yesterday's opening at Helmut-List Halle?
At 11:00, the opening of "Music for Elevators" by the French composer, musician, and artist Maxime Denuc will take place at Schlossberglift

Following that, at 12:00, Denuc presents “Elevations” at Mausoleum, a newly conceived installation in which a computer-controlled organ instrument generates a dense, immersive sonic field, setting the space into constant acoustic motion.
 

Thursday, 5 March 2026 – Day 1

17:00: We aim to create a safe and inclusive space for everyone, where the dignity of each person is respected, and individual boundaries and needs are acknowledged.

Everyone should feel accepted and comfortable, regardless of gender, sexuality, skin colour, religion, or ethnic background. We do not tolerate any form of discrimination, antisemitism, racism, sexism, ableism, or ageism.

We have zero tolerance for harassment, boundary violations, or discriminatory behaviour. Any violation of these rules may result in immediate removal from the festival.

Our zero-tolerance policy towards discrimination and harassment is strictly enforced to ensure a safe and respectful environment for all.

Our awareness team is there for anyone who needs support in unpleasant situations and takes all concerns seriously. It is on site at all club events – recognisable by its yellow T-shirts and fairy lights.

15:00: Join us today at Helmut-List Halle for the grand opening of the 22nd edition of Elevate Festival, presented by Kleine Zeitung.

Tickets are available in our ticket shop and at the box office at Helmut-List Halle. 

Free entry to the opening ceremony (from 19:30 to 20:30). The evening is hosted by Austrian molecular biologist, author and science cabaret performer Martin Moder. Discourse curator Irina Nalis and Elevate co-founder Bernhard Steirer provide an outlook on the remainder of the festival programme.

 The opening address is delivered by freelance journalist and author Şeyda Kurt, whose bestselling books Radikale Zärtlichkeit – Warum Liebe Politisch ist (2021) and Hate: The Uses of a Powerful Emotion (2023) explore the political dimensions of love and hatred.

The music programme will continue at Halle B with Bendik Giske and Theresa Baumgartner, followed by Steve Reich’s “Music for 18 Musicians” by the PPCM Ensemble. 

At Halle D, the audiovisual night starts: From 22:00 you can look forward to Amnesia Scanner, Zora Jones, PLF, Klimentina Li, Zlata and Inou Ki Endo.

12:00: At 13:00, Cathryn Clüver Ashbrook opens the afternoon with her keynote “The American Wake-Up Call” (DE). The panel “Everybody Shaking: Resistant Vitality, Loving Ways of Relating to the World” follows at 14:30 (EN), before the film screening “Yanuni – The Amazon is a Woman” closes the day at 16:30 (EN).

Running parallel from 12:00 to 18:00 in the Garten im Heimatsaal, the augmented reality film “The Tent: An AR Story”, presented in cooperation with Digithalia, invites visitors to an immersive experience (DE/EN).
