Elevate Festival 2022 Summer Edition

In the beginning and in view of the difficult situation in world politics, we would like to express our solidarity with all the people affected by the war in Ukraine.

 

In the midst of these terrible events, the 18th edition of the Elevate Festival is approaching.

We see the role of our festival as all the more important in times like these:
By living diversity and facilitating dialogue and encounters between people from different parts of the world, we hope to contribute to a world political vision free of armed conflict.

Elevate Festival 2022: transition

13 - 17 July 2022

In the midst of these terrible events, it is difficult for us to think of a joyful festival, but the 18th edition of Elevate is nevertheless approaching.

Once again, the festival will take place in the summer of 2022. Based on the positive experience of the last festival editionin August, the Elevate team is looking forward to the new date in July with hope: The interplay of a well thought-out Covid security concept and the warm temperatures have proven that the festival programme with international artists, speakers and audience can be realised without any problems.

Among the first programmatic highlights is Berlin-based performance icon Peaches, who will visit Elevate as part of her "The Teaches of Peaches" Anniversary Tour, as well as German Krautrock pioneers Faust.



First Programme Details

On the theme of Transition, five festival days from 13 to 17 July offer an opportunity to get to know new and innovative content. In addition to advanced contemporary art and an exciting discourse programme, a mix of open-air concerts and a club music programme inside the Schlossberg will once again be the focus of the festival events.

First confirmed acts are: Peaches (CA/DE), Faust (DE), Palms Trax (UK/DE), Anika (UK/DE), Sofia Kourtesis (PE/DE), Cid Rim (AT), Dillinja (UK), GiGi FM (FR), Skee Mask (DE), Zoë Mc Pherson (DE).
