Friedrich von Borries

Friedrich von Borries is a Professor of Design Theory at the University of Fine Arts Hamburg. His research focuses on the relationship between society and design, exploring sustainability and possibilities for societal transformation. His work spans the fields of architecture, design, and art. In his keynote, he will use architectural history to demonstrate why a certain level of mistrust is often justified—at least in architecture.
