Harald Gruendl is a designer, design theorist, and curator. He leads the Regenerative Design Lab at the University of Applied Arts Vienna, is Co-Chair of the Institute of Design Research Vienna, and a partner at EOOS Design.

The Regenerative Design Lab at the Institute of Design positions itself as an experimental space that interweaves artistic research with design theory. Teaching is delivered through the course “Design Revolution Now!” using an experimental pedagogy framework.
