Şeyda Kurt is a freelance journalist, columnist, author, moderator, and curator. She writes about culture, philosophy, politics, and leftist feminism. Her 2021 bestseller Radikale Zärtlichkeit – Warum Liebe politisch ist examined the political dimensions of love. In her 2023 book HASS – Von der Macht eines widerständigen Gefühls, she turns to the emotion of hate and analyzes its role within social power structures. She works, among others, for Zeit Online and Deutschlandfunk Kultur, is an editor of the Spotify podcast 190220 – Ein Jahr nach Hanau, and hosts Man lernt nie aus.
