No trust, no action? - Wege zur kritischen Vertrauensbildung
Emina Saric has extensive expertise and years of experience in intercultural learning, education, and gender studies. After completing her studies in German Language and Literature in Sarajevo, she deepened her knowledge with a Montessori education in Graz and a master’s degree in Gender Studies at the University of Graz.
Throughout her career, she has initiated and led significant projects, including co-founding the counseling center Divan, where she worked as a counselor and deputy project manager until 2018. Currently, she serves as a lecturer at the Training Center for Social Professions and as an education manager at the Private University College of Teacher Education Augustinum. As part of her work with the Association for Men’s and Gender Issues, she leads the Heroes Styria project and the ZuMIR project, both aimed at breaking down harmful gender stereotypes.
Her outstanding contributions have earned her numerous awards, including the Intercultural Achievement Award (2020), the Human Rights Award of Styria (2021), the Golden Medal of Honor of Styria, and the Austrian State Prize for Women (2022).
