Eugenia Stamboliev is a media scholar and philosopher of technology with an additional backgound in legal studies. She is interested in how media and technology shape society and in studying emerging technology critically. Her work scrutinises power dynamics of AI and corporate motifs by addressing its effects on communication or value structures but also on vulnerable groups, like workers or women. 
Eugenia is fluent in German, English and Bulgarian. Her work is shaped by her father's obsession with Michel de Montaigne and her mother's socialist thinking. She spent her life dwelling between Bulgaria, Austria, Germany and England.
