Everybody Shaking: widerständige Lebenslust, liebevolle Weltbeziehungen
Jol Thoms (b. Tkaronto) is an artist, curator and researcher based in London, UK where he is Studio Lecturer on the MA Art & Ecology at Goldsmiths University. His critical practice crosses and reconfigures boundaries between the non/human, cosmological and the scientific using strategies from quantum listening, experimental audio-visual arts, environmental humanities, and anti-colonial feminist science studies. He utilises expanded situating practices and deep-field research to both make sensible and advocate for realities of the pluriverse. Recently he has presented at the opening ceremonies of the 60th Venice Biennale; Kochi-Muziris Biennale, Kerala; Tate Modern, London; Haus Der Kunst, Munich; McaM, Shanghai; The 23rd Triennale Milano; and RADIUS Centre for Contemporary Art & Ecology, Delft. He publishes in peer reviewed Science and Humanities journals.
