Freyja van den Boom is an AI, Futures, and Speculative (Legal) Design researcher dedicated to provoking stakeholder discussions and challenging prevailing narratives. Her work focuses on ensuring that the development, deployment, and policy surrounding AI are aligned towards desirable AI and Data Futures.

Through her innovative AI Charms and AI Futures workshops, Freyja shares insights and fosters the co-design of futures we want. She empowers participants with the skills and imagination needed to make change happen, emphasizing that the future is ours to shape. Her approach combines law, anticipatory governance, and speculative design provocations to create a more equitable and inclusive technological landscape.
