Since 2015, people interested in net politics have been meeting once a month to listen to three short lectures, to discuss and spend an evening together.

Through the initiative of Spektral, epicenter.works and mur.at, the net-political evening will take place in Graz for the first time as part of the Elevate Festival.

Jana Lasser, will talk about her research in the field of complex social systems with a critical meta-level about the limits of her own research field, as transparent research and Open Science are close to her heart.

Thomas Lohninger from epicenter.works, will discuss the EU chat control project, what the monitoring of all messages would mean and what we can do about it.

Leonhard Rabensteiner, will introduce werbe-frei.at. The association wants to reduce advertising, both online and offline, step by step, create awareness for the issue and show alternative uses for advertising space.
