Rainer Rosegger - sociologist - has been working on issues and processes of urban and regional development in his agency SCAN for the past 15 years. From 2008 to 2013 he was actively involved in the organization of the Lendwirbel in Graz - an urban social movement for the inclusive use of the public space. 2012 he was co-founder of the ROSTFEST in Eisenerz, a post-industrial festival, and since then has been responsible for artistic programming, sustainable establishment in the region and the interregional networking of the festival ever since. He also teached at the Karl-Franzens-University Graz as well as at the Graz University of Technology. He is a member of the Cultural Advisory Board of the City of Graz since 2013. As of 2017 he is part of the management committee of the European research and development network "From Sharing to Caring: Examining Socio-Technical Aspects of the Collaborative Economy" of the European Sience Foundation. Rainer Rosegger works on social transformation processes, in which art and culture often have a particular significance.
