The journalist and author Robert Misik lives in Vienna and writes critiques, articles and essays for the magazines Falter and Profil as well as a weblog for the German daily taz. Furthermore he produces the weekly video blog „FS-Misik“, which gets published on the homepage of the newspaper Der Standard. His books, like the bestseller „Genial dagegen“, deal with social, political and economical developments. Misik was honoured two times with the Bruno-Kreisky-advancement award for political books. 2008 he got the Austrian State Prize for culture in journalism.
