Andreas Zingerle is a media artist from Austria. In 2016 he received his PhD from the University of Art and Design Linz (Austria). He has lectured at Art and Design universities in Austria, Norway and South Korea and works together with Linda Kronman as Kairus art collective. Together they artistically explore current issues of data security, data ethics, activism, hacking culture and the recycling of electronic resources. Kairus has been awarded the Outstanding Artist Awards 2022 by the Austrian Federal Ministry for Arts and Culture. Since 2020 he has been director of https://mur.at/– a server farm for the creative & cultural sector in Graz, Austria.
