Producer and singer Amparo Battaglia aka Catnapp was an integral part of Buenos Aires' underground scene before she moved to Berlin in 2015 and conquered the city for herself. She describes her music as pop, but with her futuristic cyborg aesthetics she is also situated between rave and rap, breakbeat and contemporary electronics and has a good portion of punk spirit. In her lyrics she doesn't shy away from dealing with big emotions and deep-seated fears, she is personal and tough. Battaglia is signed to Monkeytown, the label of the Berlin duo Modeselektor, with whom she has also collaborated in the past. And Netflix series also like to feature her tracks.
