The Brussels-based French composer, musician, and artist Maxime Denuc has long been considered a rising star of the European experimental music scene. Elevate highlights his work with a total of three artistic contributions: On the organ, he captivates audiences with minimalist compositions inspired by trance-inducing techno as well as Krautrock. The concert at the Dom organ marks the world premiere of his upcoming album, to be released in April. At the Mausoleum, an installation will be presented: Elevations consists of a computer-controlled organ instrument that generates a dense, immersive sound field, setting the space in constant sonic motion. In addition, Denuc contributes an audio installation to the long-running Elevate series Music for Elevators.
