Modeselektor has been successfully producing dancefloor music for two decades now. Since the early 2000s, the Berlin duo has been one of the defining forces in German club music. They achieved their breakthrough in connection with BPitch Control and their own labels Monkeytown Records and 50Weapons, which helped shape a decisive chapter in modern bass and club culture. Their sound combines techno, bass music, and IDM with maximum pressure and an anarchic spirit of experimentation.
