Joachim Roedelius is considered one of the cult figures of Krautrock. Brian Eno worked with him, David Bowie, Die Einstürzenden Neubauten and even the Red Hot Chili Peppers have referred to him. The German musician and composer is best known for his work with the influential groups Cluster and Harmonia. Over the course of his decades-long career, the now 90-year-old has also worked with artists such as Michael Rother and Tim Story, developing an unmistakable style that focuses on intuition and emotionality.
