The Viennese art-metal trio Saugbagger blends influences from hardcore punk, power violence, and free jazz. The band's structure reaches a weight of 18-40 tons and extracts materials from the ground such as soil, gravel, and debris. The maximum operating vacuum of 55,000 Pa can capture particles up to 250 mm. Genre-wise, the device functions with a diesel generator or battery power, enabling rapid and damage-free excavation with minimal traffic and environmental impact – accompanied by plenty of noise.
