Robert Foltin studied linguistics and philosophy and was part of the Autonomous Movement for several years. He works as an editorial journalist for the magazine grundrisse and is the author of a book on social movements in Austria called „Und wir bewegen uns doch. Soziale Bewegungen in Österreich“ (2004). Recently he published „Die Körper der Multitude. Von der sexuellen Revolution zum queer-feministischen Aufstand“ (2010) and in collobaration with Martin Birkner released the second, revised and expanded edition of „(Post-)Operaismus. Von der Arbeiterautonomie zur Multitude“ (2010). Currently he is working on the sequel to his works about the history of social movements in Austria.
