The last day of the festival offers the opportunity to continue the discussions of the previous day about social and technological alternatives by means of several workshops. In the afternoon a high-profile discussion at Dom im Berg is on the agenda: Elevate will present a "Dialogforum" in co-production with the Public-Value-Kompetenzzentrum of the ORF with the aim to get to the bottom of a key issue: Is it fear (of changes) that prevents people and societies to evolve and thus to make social change possible?
Processes of change are also the theme of the Elevate Awards Show in the evening. For the first time this year people and initiatives that are committed to meaningful and sustainable social change - both on a local and global scale – will be awarded by the Elevate Festival. That commitment is worthwhile is the essence of the evening. In the course of the show, which will be hosted by Herr Hermes, the 16 finalists of the three categories (International, Steiermark, Artivism) will be introduced, and three thereof will be presented with the Elevate Award.
