''Feed and Bleed'' is a dance and multimedia performance from the Toihaus Theater in Salzburg. The project is produced by Cornelia Böhnisch and Katharina Schrott, and is an artistic approach to the topic of environmental protection and conservation in the nuclear age. The disasters that shook Japan in 2011 (and the controversial media coverage that followed) form the inspiration for this interactive work. The performance is delivered in a way that highlights the 'filters' through which the media portrays our environment, and how these filters might affect our perception of such catastrophic events. At the show entrance, audience members can choose between blue and red decoder glasses; this allows individuals to decipher different text throughout the show, as well as experience the choreography in opposing lights.
