With its image-rich and sound-laden theater performance, the Vienna-based theater-JA.KOMM addresses topics such as our personal carbon footprint, artificial snow, future tourism, sustainability and a decelerated lifestyle. A critical examination of what most of us would consider common knowledge of climate change prompts us to question our own hierarchy of needs. "Sorry, we're fucked - DU bist die Klimakatastrophe!" ("Sorry, we're fucked - YOU are the climate catastrophe!") is a fun, snappy comedy which, given the subject matter, is as scary as it is funny. The show is followed by an open discussion with several experts such as the Greenpeace co-founder Wolfgang Pekny (who now manages the platform Footprint.at).
