Hatis Noit (jp)

Inspired by Nepalese monk singing, Japanese classical music, Gregorian chants or Bulgarian folklore, experimental vocalist Hatis Noit works her way through the expressive spectrum of the human voice. Her transcendental avant-garde pieces are based exclusively on the modulation of her voice, the impressive range of which has also inspired musicians such as Kevin Martin aka The Bug or the pianist Lubomyr Melnyk to collaborate with the Japanese musician. Her latest record was released on Erased Tapes.
