Music for Elevators

The series “Music for Elevators” has by now become an established part of the festival’s program. Each year, a sound installation by an artist is premiered in the Schlossberg Lift. The ride through this liminal space becomes an associative experience that, even if only briefly, stimulates the imagination. In the past, it was the compositions of renowned musicians such as Suzanne Ciani, Brian Eno, Caterina Barbieri, Jimi Tenor, or Dorian Concept that resonated in the glass elevator throughout the year and inspired its guests.

For the coming year, Maxime Denuc has been commissioned to contribute a composition.
