Austrian musician, producer, and composer Aki Traar moves chameleon-like between indie sleaze, deconstructed club, and theatre-focused sound design. When he’s not composing music for theatre, he produces club tracks – with his debut release out on Ashida Park. Recently he started writing songs, with such immediate success that they entered the charts right away. Traar’s latest album, Hound, is sensitive yet determined, unpretentious and quietly addictive. It spans an emotional arc from intimate, introspective moments, where autobiographical experiences surface, to euphoric anthems driven by distorted electric guitars, bursts of energy, and a raw, immediate sense of urgency.

Aki Traar will perform with Max Quaring, Raphael Lanthaler and Peter Trabitzsch to present Hound.
