BOUNCE

With their new production BOUNCE, the performance duo Marta Navaridas & Alex Deutinger celebrate the end of the beginning as the beginning of the end with a hand-picked team of dancers and musicians. 

BOUNCE combines movement, sound and rhythm in a unique concert choreography. Three dancers (Bruna Diniz, Matteo Haitzmann, Marta Navaridas) use skipping ropes as choreographic and acoustic tools on a catwalk construction, whereby the sounds they generate are transformed by Manuel Riegler's live electronics and integrated into a musical landscape. Accompanied by the experimental harpist Eduardo Raon, a dynamic combination of physical precision, musical innovation and poetic lightness is created.

In BOUNCE, dancers and musicians together celebrate a danced ritual of togetherness, exertion and transformation.

World premiere in the context of the festival opening.
