KAJKYT
KAJKYT

Classically trained composer Slobodan Kajkut started his alter-ego project, KAJKYT, in 2005. The project actualizes his vision of mixing dark ambient sounds and down-tempo beats with byzantine chants, which he has been exploring for a long period of time. 2010 saw his first release, KRST, which was met with critical acclaim and was promoted exclusively in churches. KRST has been remixed by Lustmord, James Plotkin, Opcion and Lepenik among others. Slobodan runs his own label, GOD RECORDS (GODrec), which dedicates itself to contemporary music released exclusively on vinyl. At this year's Elevate Festival, he will be presenting his second release, simply entitled II.
