The opening show on Wednesday, 04.08.2021 in the new festival center Next Liberty will kick off the 17th festival edition: upbeat and (Covid suitable) festive, but also perceptive and with a lot of depth with an opening speech by Philipp Blom and a musical contribution by Kœnig with BR Laser and Karolina Preuschl.

After the opening, a special DJ set by DJ Puschmann will be performed in the outdoor area of the Next Liberty, inviting you to linger at the EULE bar and enjoy an upbeat end to the opening ceremony.

The complete programme for the 17th festival edition and further information on all participating musicians, speakers and artists from the fields of music, discourseand arts are now available online!

In addition to the aforementioned Next Liberty, which will host the Discourse programme this year, we are also looking forward to other new festival venues.

As one of the highlights of this year's festival edition, 2 big open-air stages at Lendplatz and Volksgarten will be presented for the first time.

Due to the current 2G controls, the operators of the Postgarage have unfortunately had to decide to cancel their participation in this year's festival. However, thanks to the good cooperation with the Grazer Spielstätten, we have managed to transfer the complete programme from the Postgarage to the Orpheum and Orpheum Extra on the festival Saturday. Tickets already purchased remain valid.
