DJ Spinn is a central figure of Chicago footwork and co-founder of the legendary Teklife collective. Since the late 1990s he has shaped an ultra-fast, hyper-precise style built on racing breaks, chopped samples, deep basslines and radically dance-focused rhythmics. His releases on Hyperdub and Teklife Records are considered milestones.
