Hyperdub longtime companion Sara Abdel Hamid presents us with glossy rhythms in energetic upbeat tracks as Ikonika. Ikonika manages to combine experimentation and mainstream sound and bring them together in cheerful, bass-heavy breakbeat numbers.  Her retro-futuristic style moves like a chameleon from one style to the next. In her releases, the London-based producer and DJ moves from UK funky, to dubstep and grime, to deep house and pop or - as in the most recent case - Amapiano. 

Ikonika will be performing as part of the Hyperdub 20 showcase.
