A geographer by study (specialization: climatology), Christian Salmhofer has been the Climate Alliance Coordinator for Carinthia since the mid "90"s. He`s consistently published numerous articles, commentaries and academic papers over the last twenty years, as well as taught and lectured on various themes connected to the subject of climate change. At the same time, he concerns himself with an extensive range of  themes, from the general clarification of the greenhouse effect to critical examinations of climate control and climate politics, at the centre of which stand ecology and human rights. Salmhofer labels himself as a "development aid worker in Austria" with the current focal point "Climate Change and our Nutrition as an Example of (Organic) Farming, Agronomics and Migation."
