The final concert with Michael Rother and Gudrun Gut on 08.03. at 20:00 will bring together two legends on the Orpheum Extra stage.

Gudrun Gut is regarded as an icon of the early Berlin underground. As a founding member of bands like Malaria! and former member of Einstürzende Neubauten, she remains a central figure in the German industrial and post-punk scene. With her solo project, gender activist Gut presents enigmatic electro-pop, in which lascivious spoken word, hypnotic synth sounds and techno beats idiosyncratically come together

According to Die Zeit, Michael Rother is internationally regarded as one of Germany’s most important rock musicians . He was a member of the style-defining lineups of NEU! and Harmonia, briefly even part of Kraftwerk, and is revered by musicians like Brian Eno. Even David Bowie wanted to work with him. At the Orpheum, the Krautrock pioneer will present works by his former bands alongside select solo pieces.

The evening will be rounded off by Conny Frischauf, a Viennese musician and artist carrying Krautrock heritage forward in her unpretentious songs. Based on repetitive synth melodies, her eclectic catalogue is held together by lyrical wordplay.

A complementary screening of Conny Plank: The Potential Of Noise will take place at 15:30 at the Rechbauerkino in Graz, followed by an audience discussion with Michael Rother.
