For environment and health: The movements against the coal-fired power plant in Voitsberg and the Mur hydropower plant

In recent years, two inspiring protest movements have grown in Graz and its vicinity. Both fight against ecological destructive and health-endangering power plant projects.

Their common ground is that they unite committed people who want to defend their health and environment against mighty enemies. The people involved know they can only win by combining forces. The health of thousands of people and the implementation of sensible climate and environmental politics, which emphasizes really renewable energy sources, are at risk.

Representatives of the citizen's initiatives present themselves, speak about their current developments and future perspectives and open their demands to discussion.
