Misonica is a DJ and promoter based in Vienna. In multilayered sets she transports her strong vision of sound through diverse influences and vast understanding of and approach towards music. She combines psychedelic rhythms of kraut with techno and industrial as well as tribal, wavy and cosmic forces of her repertoire. Next to her frequent djing she plays an integral part in creating and promoting events like HOPE X and utopia3000, which aim to highlight the egalitarian and subversive potential of alternative club culture. She is also part of the feministic project FEMDEX, which deals with gender questions in the music scene.
